It’s been a little while since VBS, but we’re still remembering what a great week it was! 💡✨ So many good memories, lots of fun, and so much excitement throughout the week! ❤️

We’re so thankful for everyone who helped make it such a great VBS! 🙌

What a meaningful night we had together! We spent the evening looking back at the people, memories, and special moments that have been part of our church story—including baptisms, Alpha, and those unforgettable all-church retreats.

Then we turned our attention to the future and dreamed about more fun ways to bring people together and point them to Jesus. 🙌

And maybe… just maybe, the all-church retreats will make a comeback—only this time, they might be called Church Advances! 😉

Meet your elder: Adrian Bright
Hi, I'm Adrian! I'm originally from England, by way of Sudan, and moved to Tahlequah over 15 years ago with my family. I am married to my beautiful wife Lara, and we have 3 grown-up kids who are almost-mostly out of the house! I work in IT (I won't tell you the detail because it will probably send you to sleep!), and Lara and I spend a lot of our time at Northeastern State University loving on international students. I also love working with the young people in our church, I help with the tech, am passionate about missions (being an MK myself), and stick my oar into far too many other areas too!

Meet your elder: Robert Pinion
Hello, hello! I’m a passionate person who loves the Lord. To describe myself, I’d really just tell you what it is I do. I spend all my free time with my wife of 15 years. We raise five children with the goal of teaching them who Christ is. It’s our greatest mission. I work as an English educator at Tahlequah High School and Northeastern State University. I play drums, my favorite color is green, and I enjoy reading!

And currently my passion is leading the Wednesday Night Gatherings where many of us come together to worship, fellowship, and pray together. You are welcome to join!

⛪️ Today was one of those Sundays that reminds us why we do what we do.

Our VBS kids and their leaders lit up the sanctuary as they sang the song they learned this week, and our Challenge students shared powerful stories of how God grew their faith through the conference.

There is nothing better than seeing the next generation learning God’s Word, growing in their faith, and boldly sharing what He’s doing in their lives.

This is discipleship. This is the Church. And we couldn’t be more thankful to be part of it.
