Meet Esprit Dunn, our Family + Community Ministry Liaison!

Esprit has been part of the Puget Sound Foursquare family since 2022, although her connection to the church actually began years earlier when Lance Powers officiated her wedding and challenged her and her husband, Cameron, to attend church six times. They did... and then disappeared! Years later, during a difficult season of life, they walked back through the doors in December 2021 and have been here ever since.

Esprit and Cameron are raising two amazing kids, Ezriella (5) and Cian (2). When she’s not serving families in our church, you’ll likely find her baking sourdough, pies, cookies, or trying to outdo her previous holiday baking season.

One of the most life-changing lessons God has taught her is to stop identifying as a child of trauma and instead embrace her identity as a child of God. That shift transformed her faith and continues to shape how she lives today.

Fun fact: Esprit can bake almost anything—but she’s still trying to figure out how to cook eggs without burning them!

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free. As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we pause with gratitude, pray for military families, and remember those who laid down their lives for others.

Meet Dominique Ryles—our Creative Lead!

Dominique and her kids Anthony (14) and Jasmine (9) have been part of the Puget Sound Foursquare family for 5½ years after joining during the merge with Trinity Church in 2021.

One thing about Dominique? She has one of the coolest hobbies around—collecting medieval and ancient weaponry. She loves the history, strategy, and purpose behind each weapon and how it reflects the way God uniquely designed each of us for different battles and callings.

If she could instantly master any skill, it would be becoming incredible with money management or excelling in public speaking—because both can impact lives in powerful ways.

Dominique’s story is also one of God’s faithfulness. Through some of life’s darkest seasons, she’s seen God protect, guide, and strengthen her. What once felt like hardship has now become part of how she encourages and helps others through their own battles.

We love Dominique’s creativity, wisdom, and passion for people, and we’re so thankful she’s part of the team!

Say hello to Joe Barber—our Youth Director!

Joe has been part of the Puget Sound Foursquare family for about a year, and we’re so glad he’s here. He and his wife, Tammi, first got connected after Tammi met Pollie through an immersion cohort. One visit later, they knew—this place felt like home.

Joe and Tammi have a son, Sam (21), and he brings that same heart for family into everything he does—especially when it comes to investing in students.

When he’s not hanging with youth, Joe is either in the kitchen cooking up incredible curries or out back working the grill like a pro.

Fun fact: Joe would love to learn how to play the piano someday—he just needs to find the time to start!

Joe’s life has been shaped by understanding God’s love in a real way—and it’s changed how he sees people. He’s all about meeting others with care, respect, and a genuine desire to understand who they are.

We love having Joe on the team and can’t wait for you to get to know him more!
