Today's Good News - Part II

This morning we were visited by our friend Ed from Kiesz's crafts and handyman shop with the donations he collected through his School Supplies Drive. This is the second year that Ed has organized this drive to benefit Holy Family School. With the help of volunteers from WAVES, they delivered 15 boxes full of school supplies. INCREDIBLE!

We chose the quote in the headline because giving back is something that exemplifies both Ed and WAVES. Throughout the year, Ed organizes a number of supply drives and makes frequent donations from his woodworking shop (including beautiful corn hole sets which he has donated to the HF Festival). We are so very thankful to have these individuals' continued support and presence in our community. We are humbled by their willingness to share their time, talents and resources for the benefit of our school and its students.

Today's Good News - Part I
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above." James 1:17

Today we arrived at school to find these "gifts" which were donated by our wonderful parish. Through the efforts of the HF Hospitality Committee, teachers were once again asked to submit Wish Lists for the classrooms. Those lists were shared with parishioners who so generously purchased the requested supplies and materials.

What an incredible "gift" Holy Family School has in our parish and parishioners. For over 65 years they have faithfully been supporting our school's mission and Catholic education. Thank you hardly seems enough but THANK YOU to everyone. ❤

School Supplies All Packed & Ready For Delivery

Oh my! Look at all those boxes! Just received this photo from our friend, Ed at Kiesz's crafts and handyman shop. Pictured are the boxes full of school supplies that will be delivered to Holy Family School tomorrow (with the help of WAVES Emergency Medical Services.)

Thanks again to Ed and to all that contributed to make this amazing school supplies drive a success. We are blessed by the generosity and support of our community❤

Last Year 12 Boxes...This Year Even More!

We just got this photo and message from Ed Kieszkowski - "Last year we delivered 12 boxes. We asked to fill 12 this year and it looks like it's going to be 14-15. We hit our goal." Ed is working to coordinate with WAVES for the drop off at school some time next week.
