Yesterday we celebrated Baptism Sunday—beautiful stories of God’s grace and transformation.

What a blessing it was to witness these public declarations of faith. Our hearts are so encouraged and full of praise! 🙌

Acts 2:38: “Peter replied, ‘Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’”

Friday is good because Sunday is coming ✝️

Today we remember the cross.
The darkest day in history…
When love was poured out,
grace was written in blood,
and Jesus gave His life for us.

“He was pierced for our transgressions… by His wounds we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5

It looked like defeat.
It felt like silence.
But God was doing His greatest work.

Good Friday reminds us:
Jesus didn’t just die…
He died for you.

Join us as we reflect, remember, and respond to the sacrifice that changed everything.

Happy Valentine’s Day from New City Church. ❤️ ⛪️

Today the world celebrates love. And we want to remind you of the greatest love you will ever know — the love of God.
Not a love that’s conditional. Not a love that fades. Not a love that gives up when things get hard.

A love that sent His Son to die for you. A love that rejoices over you with singing. A love that nothing in all creation can separate you from.

💌 Swipe through and sent God’s love to someone you love today.

This Valentine’s Day, may you feel how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love truly is. 🤍

So what does it look like to let go of control and trust God?

This week’s message from Ecclesiastes 3 gave us practical steps to surrender our need for control and rest in His sovereignty:

✓ Surrender your need for control
✓ Trust His timing
✓ Seek God in every season
✓ Fix your eyes on eternity
✓ Choose joy as an act of trust
✓ Revere God’s sovereignty

Here’s the truth: faith wasn’t meant to be lived alone.

City Groups are small gatherings where we study Scripture, pray together, build real relationships, and encourage each other to live on mission.
It’s where knowing Jesus becomes more than a Sunday thing — it becomes an everyday thing.

📖 Swipe through to see why City Groups matter and how they help us live out our mission: Know Jesus and Make Him Known.

Ready to take the next step? We’d love to help you find your group. 🤍

Another year. Another season of His faithfulness.

As we step into 2026, we’re pausing to give God the glory for everything He’s done. Every provision. Every answered prayer. Every moment He showed up when we needed Him most.

He’s been faithful. He’s been good. And He’s not done yet.
We can’t wait to see what He has in store for us this year — the lives He’ll touch, the hearts He’ll change, the ways He’ll move in and through this church family.

“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” — Psalm 126:3

Here’s to another year of knowing Jesus and making Him known. 🤍
Happy New Year from all of us at New City Church.

You can be surrounded by people and still feel like an outsider.

This week, we walked through the story of Judas — one of the twelve disciples, personally chosen by Jesus, yet spiritually disconnected.

He was close to Jesus physically. He witnessed miracles. He had authority to heal and cast out demons. But his heart was divided.

Judas followed Jesus publicly, but privately wrestled with greed, pride, and doubt. He never called Jesus “Lord” — only “Rabbi.” And ultimately, he betrayed Him for 30 pieces of silver.
When guilt consumed him, Judas didn’t run to Jesus. He ran to isolation. And it destroyed him.

Here’s the lesson: Proximity to Jesus isn’t the same as surrender. Being in church doesn’t mean you’re fully His. Calling Him a good teacher isn’t the same as declaring Him Lord.

Jesus loved and chose Judas, even knowing what he would do. The rejection didn’t come from Jesus. It came from Judas.
So the question is: Are there areas of your life you haven’t fully surrendered to Him?

📖 Swipe to see how divided hearts, isolation, and lack of surrender can leave us spiritually empty — even when we’re physically present.
