Ever wonder what it takes to completely transform a life? Saul of Tarsus was on a mission to destroy the church—breathing threats, hunting believers, convinced he was doing God's work. Then Jesus showed up on the road to Damascus with a blinding light and a direct question: "Why are you persecuting ME?"

In Acts 9, we witness one of history's most dramatic conversions. The persecutor becomes the preacher. The enemy becomes family. Saul discovers that when we attack God's people, we attack Christ Himself. And here's the encouragement for us: when the world attacks you as a believer, they're attacking Jesus personally. You matter that much to Him.

God didn't promise Saul an easy road—just the opposite. He told him about the suffering ahead. But He also gave him purpose, power, and a mission that would change the world. Sometimes God's call isn't comfortable, but it's always worth it.

What is God calling you to today? Are you listening?

Acts chapter 9 presents us with one of the most dramatic transformation stories in all of Scripture - the conversion of Saul of Tarsus. This passage reveals profound truths about God's sovereign ability to redirect even the most hostile opponents into His most effective servants. Saul was not just c...

Where have you pitched your tent—toward the world or toward God?

This week we walked through Genesis 34, a difficult chapter that exposes the devastating consequences of compromise. Jacob had settled near Shechem instead of returning to Bethel where God called him. The result? Tragedy, violence, and heartbreak for his family. When we allow the world's comforts and pleasures to distract us from God's presence, we open the door to destruction.

Jesus raised the stakes even higher. He said anger is murder in the heart. Lust is adultery in the heart. The world streams these temptations directly into our homes, our phones, our lives. We cannot survive the pull of this world in our own strength.

The remedy? Return to Bethel—the house of God. Come back to prayer, to Scripture, to worship, to fellowship. Don't wait another day. The longer you delay, the harder the journey back becomes. God is calling you home.

Genesis 34 presents us with one of Scripture's most uncomfortable narratives, yet it reveals profound truths about the consequences of spiritual compromise. When Jacob settled near Shechem instead of returning to Bethel as he had vowed, he positioned his family dangerously close to worldly influence...
