Church Family and Friends,

Life has a way of putting all of us in moments where we have to decide if we’re going to walk by fear or walk by faith. Sometimes the pressure gets heavy. Sometimes you get tired. Sometimes you know God is calling you to do something bigger than your comfort zone.

That’s where Esther found herself in Esther 4:15-17.

Her people were in trouble. The stakes were high. She could have stayed quiet and protected herself. But Esther understood that there comes a time when faith has to move. There comes a time when you stop talking about purpose and start walking in it.

That’s why this lesson is so important for where we are right now.

A lot of people are carrying anxiety, disappointment, frustration, and questions about what’s next. But this passage reminds us that God still positions people for such a time as this. He still gives strength to fearful people. He still opens doors. He still gives favor. And He still honors those who trust Him enough to step out in faith.

This Wednesday night, Rev. Debra Wright will be facilitating our “Going Deeper” Bible Study lesson entitled, “Walking It Out with Faith, Fortitude & Favor.” I believe this is going to be a powerful and honest conversation. We’re going to dig into the text, encourage one another, and talk about what it really means to trust God when life gets uncomfortable.

If you’ve been discouraged, tired, uncertain, or just needing a word from the Lord, this study is for you.

Invite somebody to join you. Bring your Bible. Bring your questions. Bring your heart.

We look forward to seeing you Wednesday night.

Before the sun ever rose this morning, we were already walking by faith and putting in the work! 🙌🏾

Five miles completed. 10,000 steps achieved. Fresh air, prayer, movement, gratitude, and discipline before most people even started their day. There is something powerful about getting up early and reminding yourself that with God’s strength, you can keep moving forward no matter what life brings.

This morning’s walk reminded me that faith is not just something we talk about on Sunday — it is something we WALK OUT every single day.

That’s why I’m excited for this Sunday at Lake View Terrace Baptist Church as Rev. Debra Wright brings the message from Esther 4:12–17: “Walking It Out in Faith, Fortitude, and Favor.”

Esther teaches us that courage is not the absence of fear — it is moving forward anyway because God has called you for such a time as this.

If you need encouragement…
If you need strength…
If you need a reminder that God still opens doors and gives favor…

Come worship with us this Sunday!

Sunday School – 9:00 AM
Morning Worship – 10:00 AM

Come expecting a mighty move of God! 🙏🏾

Beloved LVTBC Family and Friends,

Have you ever looked back over your life and wondered how God could take broken pieces, painful chapters, bad decisions, deep losses, and somehow turn them into a beautiful testimony of grace? Many of us know what it feels like to carry the weight of regret, disappointment, loneliness, failure, or spiritual exhaustion. Yet the good news of the Gospel is this: God specializes in redemption.

This Wednesday night, during our continuing Women’s Month emphasis, we invite you to join us for a powerful and deeply encouraging Bible Study entitled:

“The Romance of Redemption”

Rooted in Ruth 4:9–12, Colossians 1:12–14, and 1 John 1:9–2:1, this lesson reveals the breathtaking picture of Boaz as the kinsman redeemer and Ruth as the recipient of transforming grace. What began as a story of grief, poverty, and uncertainty became a testimony of restoration, belonging, and covenant love.

In Ruth, we discover that redemption is not merely a transaction — it is a relationship. Boaz did not simply redeem land; he redeemed a life. In the same way, Jesus Christ did not merely save us from sin; He brought us into fellowship, forgiveness, inheritance, and hope.

This study is especially relevant for believers today because so many people are quietly wrestling with shame, spiritual fatigue, unanswered questions, and the fear that their failures have disqualified them from God’s best. But the Scriptures remind us that Jesus has already paid the price for our redemption. Through Him, our past can be forgiven, our present can be restored, and our future can still be filled with purpose.

Together, we will explore:

• What it truly means to be redeemed
• How Christ cancels spiritual debt
• Why grace still reaches imperfect people
• How forgiveness brings healing and restoration
• What it means to move from spiritual poverty to spiritual riches

Most importantly, this will be a safe and welcoming space for honest conversation, encouragement, healing, and spiritual growth. Whether you are strong in your faith or struggling to hold on, this study is for you.

Come expecting insight from the Word, strength for your journey, and a fresh reminder that the Redeemer still lives — and He is still restoring lives today.

We would love to see you Wednesday night. Invite a friend, family member, coworker, or someone who simply needs hope.
