Knollwood Presbyterian Church

Knollwood Presbyterian Church Sunday School: 9:30; Morning Worship: 10:30; Various Community Groups meet throughout the week. We believe in the Holy Trinity.

We believe the Bible is the written word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and without error in the original manuscripts. The Bible is the revelation of God’s truth and is infallible and authoritative in all matters of faith and practice. There is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that all are sinners and totally unable to save t

hemselves from God’s displeasure, except by His mercy. We believe that salvation is by God alone as He sovereignly chooses those He will save. We believe His choice is based on His grace, not on any human individual merit, or foreseen faith. We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who through His perfect life and sacrificial death atoned for the sins of all who will trust in Him, alone, for salvation. We believe that God is gracious and faithful to His people not simply as individuals but as families in successive generations according to His Covenant promises. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells God’s people and gives them the strength and wisdom to trust Christ and follow Him. We believe that Jesus will return, bodily and visibly, to judge all mankind and to receive His people to Himself. We believe that all aspects of our lives are to be lived to the glory of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Nearly everything in our lives has made it faster and simpler to talk. We came up with the landline to sha

For those who are a little less familiar with the Bible, this passage may sound odd. Even for those who are very familiar with the Bible might wonder how this passage fits with the rest of the Bible. After all, isn't the main message of Christianity is that you cannot work your way to heaven? Isn't

What is the first piece of information you want to know about a person? What is the first thing that you notice when you meet them? For those in sales, the most relevant thing about you is how much money you have, and they often tell by looking at your dress, particularly your shoes. For others, it'

Ecclesiastes is a treasure of a book. All of them are, of course, but there is something unique about this one. We wonder how we would feel about life if we were wealthy, powerful, successful, no servant of anyone, but there are very few people around us that we could ask. Celebrities sometimes hint

James 1:19-27 Is the Christian life something that happens to you or is it something that you are actively involved in? This isn't a trick question, but is meant to make you think. The answer of course is yes. Jesus comes and sovereignly resurrects your soul. He takes out your heart of stone and gi
