In Colossians 3, we are told that "whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people." We are each called to a different type of work and to do it as unto the Lord.

He also calls us to rest and to take time to rest. Whether that is today or another day this week, we pray that you take the time to rest in Him.

Today begins Tennessee Baptists' state missions emphasis month as we lead up to the week of prayer for state missions and the Golden Offering for Tennessee Missions.

During the week of September 13-20, we invite you to join us and thousands of other Tennesseans as we pause and pray for God to move right here in our state. This year, we also celebrate 125 years of prayer and giving for Tennessee Missions.
