Well, we begin my last week here as the pastor of Sutherland and Larrabee United Methodist Churches. Sunday, June 16, will be my last day. Then we have a week to finish packing before we move to Adel on the 24th. Then we have a week to begin settling in before I start as the Pastor of Guthrie Center United Methodist Church and Bowman Chapel United Methodist Church.

This week is a week of packing up my office and saying Farewell. We have a couple events to make that happen. Wednesday, June 12, Larrabee will host a Farewell Potluck at 6:30 p.m.. Friday, June 14, Sutherland will have their Farewell Potluck at 6:00.

It has been a privilege to be in ministry together, so if you are able, join us for any of these 3 events.

Worship is cancelled for Palm Sunday, March 24. The roads are icy and vehicles are already sliding off the road from Aurelia where Pastor Morris lives.

A Reminder: There is no worship service tomorrow, January 14, due to the dangerous road and weather conditions.

Pass the word to those who might not see it here or on KTIV. It would also be a good opportunity to check in on one another to make sure everybody is safe.

Due to the forecast of continued blowing snow and bitterly cold wind chills, we will not gather for worship on Sunday, January 14, at both Larrabee and Sutherland. I will have online worship ready to go for 10:00 on Sunday.
