What crown are you spending your life trying to build?

The promotion.

The house.

The car.

The reputation.

The achievement.

The number in the bank account.

We spend so much of our lives building crowns that eventually fade, burn, or stay behind.

But there is one crown that lasts.

The Crown of Life.

James 1:12 says that the person who perseveres under trial and stands the test will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.

And here's the part that changes everything.

Jesus wore the crown of thorns we deserved so He could offer us a crown we could never earn.

Maybe you've been chasing something that was never going to last.

Maybe life has already taken the crown you built.

Either way, Jesus is asking you to take it off.

You don't have to be king of your own life anymore.

Jesus came to be King of your life.
