Have you made Jesus your Savior, but not yet your Lord?

Many people know about Jesus. They know the stories, the Scriptures, and the songs. But knowing about Jesus is not the same as following Jesus.

In Matthew 16:24-26, Jesus gives a clear invitation to discipleship: deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Him.

Submission is not a one-time decision. It's a daily choice to put God's will above our own and allow Jesus to have the final say in our lives.

This message challenges us to move beyond belief and into true discipleship.

A saguaro cactus 🌵 can survive up to a year without rain because it doesn’t rely on surface-level conditions. It stores what it receives when the rain comes, and its deep root system reaches far below the surface to find what it needs in dry seasons.

There’s a reminder in that.

Not everything needed for a dry season is found in the dry season. Some provision is stored ahead of time—built in seasons when things were full, steady, and flowing.

What gets rooted and stored early often becomes what sustains later.
