Gentleness is often mistaken for weakness, but Scripture presents it as strength shaped by trust in God. When worry, frustration, and the need to control everything take hold, our hearts can become hard and our words sharp. Yet Christ, the Good Shepherd, meets us with gentleness and teaches us to live differently. This Sunday we will consider how God’s peace frees us from anxiety and forms in us a humble spirit that approaches others with care, respect, and grace.
Join us June 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary and about 10:15 a.m. on Facebook for “Gentle in the Shepherd’s Care” (Part 9 of 10). We will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper.

On Trinity Sunday, we worship the faithful God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who keeps covenant, carries his people, and never turns away from his promises. In a world that often rewards shortcuts and second-guessing, Hebrews 11 reminds us that faith is not perfection, but trust that keeps returning to God again and again. This Sunday, we will consider how God’s steadfast faithfulness shapes a life that learns to walk by faith.
Join us May 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary and about 10:15 a.m. on Facebook for “By Faith” (Part 8 of 10).

On Pentecost Sunday, we remember the day God poured out His Holy Spirit on the church and set in motion the life He promised in Christ. Pentecost is not only a moment of power in the book of Acts; it is the beginning of God’s harvest, the first sign that new life, hope, and peace are already taking root among those who belong to Jesus.
Join us May 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary and about 10:15 a.m. on Facebook for “The First Fruits of the Spirit” (Part 7 of 10). Don’t forget to wear RED!

On Ascension Sunday, we celebrate that Jesus Christ is not absent from his church, but alive, reigning, and present by his Spirit. This week, we will hear how the risen Lord is the first fruits of the life to come, and how our life of faith grows not by striving alone, but by abiding in him as branches joined to the vine. Christ’s ascension is not a departure into distance, but the hope that our life is hidden with him, and that his living presence continues to bear good fruit in us.
Join us May 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary and about 10:15 a.m. on Facebook for “The Vine and the Branches” (Part 6 of 10).

Generosity and kindness are more than nice traits—they are the shape of a life rooted in Christ. This Sunday we will hear Jesus’ story of the Good Samaritan and Paul’s call to hold loosely to this world’s security and live for “the life that is truly life.” Join us as we consider how God’s generous love opens our hands, softens our hearts, and leads us to notice the needs right in front of us.
Join us May 10, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary and about 10:15 a.m. on Facebook for “The Life that is Truly Life” (Part 5 of 10). There will be no session meeting this month (second Sunday) as we are celebrating Mother’s Day!
