✨ Word of the Week: Prayer ✨

What if the first thing we did when we picked up our phones wasn't scroll... but pray?

This week, I challenge you to set this graphic as your lock screen or screensaver. Let it be a simple reminder to pause and talk to God before diving into notifications, social media, emails, and the endless distractions waiting for us.

Prayer doesn't have to be long or fancy. Sometimes it's simply: "Lord, guide my day." "Thank You for Your blessings." "Help me trust You with what's ahead."
Imagine how different our days might look if we started with prayer instead of scrolling.

πŸ“– "Pray without ceasing." β€” 1 Thessalonians 5:17
If you use this as your screensaver, let me know below! I'd love to see how God uses this small reminder in your daily walk. πŸ’›

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do isn't work harder, worry more, or figure it all out ourselves.

It's something available to us at any moment, yet so often overlooked.

Any guesses what next week's Word of the Week will be? πŸ‘€πŸ‘‡

Word of the Week: Release 🎈

Have you ever blown up a balloon and kept adding more air?

At first, it seems fine. But the more you hold inside, the bigger the pressure becomes. Worries. Stress. Fear. Disappointment. Things left unsaid. Things out of your control.

Eventually, you have two choices: keep holding it until it bursts, or release it.

The funny thing about a balloon is that when you let it go, it flies all over the place before it finally settles. Sometimes releasing our burdens to God feels the same way. It can seem messy at first. Emotions surface. Circumstances don't instantly calm down. We may even feel out of control for a moment.
But just like that balloon eventually returns to its original size, our hearts begin to settle too.

Release doesn't mean pretending the problem never existed. It means trusting God with what was never ours to carry alone.

WORD OF THE WEEK: RELEASE

Have you ever watched a pressure cooker?
The pressure builds and builds until it's time to release the steam.

If it never released, eventually something would give.
The same is true for us.

We carry the pressure of parenthood. The pressure of work. The pressure of expectations. The pressure to keep everyone happy. The pressure to have it all together.

And before we know it, we're overwhelmed, exhausted, and running on empty.

This week, I'm learning that release isn't weakness it's necessary.

God never intended for us to carry every burden, every worry, and every expectation on our own.

Sometimes faith looks like opening your hands, releasing the pressure, and letting God carry what was never yours to hold.

We get excited about new releases: new books, new movies, new music.

But this week's release looks different.
I'm releasing worry. Releasing fear. Releasing the need to control every outcome.

Sometimes the greatest release isn't something new we pick up.
It's something old we finally lay down.

✝️What do you need to release this week?
