FRESH START 🌅

Scripture 📖
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth” – Isaiah 43:19 KJV

Family, Today is a fresh start.
Not because yesterday was perfect.
But because His mercies are new.

The Past Doesn’t Get The Final Say
“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.” – Isaiah 43:18 KJV
Meaning: God’s not stuck on your last mistake, your last season, your last heartbreak. He’s doing a NEW thing. Don’t drag yesterday into today.

His Mercy Resets You Every Morning
“It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning” – Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV
Meaning: You woke up. That’s proof. God gave you 24 more hours and a clean slate. His grace covers what you couldn’t fix.

You’re Not The Same Person You Were
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV
Meaning: In Christ, you don’t go back to who you were. You start from who He made you to be. New identity. New power. New purpose.

Don’t think — just know:
You’re not behind.
You’re not disqualified.
Today is Day 1 of what God wants to do.
This is your fresh start.

PRAYER 🙏🏾
Father, thank You for new mercies this morning. I let go of yesterday — the guilt, the regret, the “what ifs.” Today I choose You. Do the new thing in me. Make me new. Lead me new. Use me new. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

DECLARATION 🗣️
I have a fresh start. The old is gone. God is doing a new thing in me. Today is not yesterday!

🔥 SEPTEMBER IS HERE — AND WE’RE GETTING FIT FOR THE KINGDOM! 🔥

The Birthing Place Suffolk is excited to announce our September Monthly Theme:

💪🏽 FIT FOR THE KINGDOM

Mind • Body • Soul

This month, we are challenging ourselves to become healthier and stronger—not just physically, but spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.

God has called us to take care of what He has entrusted to us. That means taking care of our MIND, strengthening our BODY, and nurturing our SOUL.

📖 “Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost…”
— 1 Corinthians 6:19–20 KJV

Throughout September, we will focus on:

🧠 MIND — Renew it. Strengthen it.
💪🏽 BODY — Move it. Nourish it.
❤️ SOUL — Rest it. Grow it.
🙏🏽 PRAYER — Seek God. Connect with Him.

Our September challenge includes 10,000 Steps, Prayer Walks, Healthy Eating, Movement, Rest & Renewal, and growing together in faith and fellowship.

What an awesome and powerful time in the presence of the Lord! We are still celebrating the incredible Word delivered by Vice-Bishop Randolph Warren. The Word truly blessed us!

A special THANK YOU to Lady Cheryl Wilkins for serving as our Worship Leader and helping set the atmosphere for worship. ❤️

We also want to express our sincere appreciation to Pastor Yvette Pierce for reading our Scripture and leading us in prayer. Thank you for being a part of our celebration! 🙏🏽

To everyone who came from near and far to celebrate with us THANK YOU! Your presence, prayers, love, encouragement, and support have meant so much to us. ❤️

As we close out this anniversary month, we are grateful for 4 amazing years of ministry and pastorship and for every person God has connected to The Birthing Place Suffolk.

🙏🏽 WHAT A POWERFUL ANNIVERSARY CLOSING! 🙏🏽

What an incredible way to close out our 4th Church & Pastoral Anniversary Celebration! God truly met us in the house, and we are grateful for everything He has done over these past four years. 🙌🏽🔥

A special THANK YOU to our guest preacher, Vice-Bishop Randolph Warren of St. Paul Holiness Church, for blessing The Birthing Place Suffolk with a powerful and timely Word entitled “Follower and Winner.” 📖🔥

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11:1; Matthew 28:19–20

Vice-Bishop Warren challenged us to understand that who we follow determines where we are going, and that true discipleship calls us to follow Christ and make disciples. What a Word! 🙌🏽

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Lady Cheryl Wilkins for serving as our Worship Leader. Thank you for helping usher us into the presence of God. ❤️
