Coffee Hour is back with a full spread!
Next week is our Drive Thru Coffee hour from 10:30-11:30 Free for the community. We will also be providing a treat with coffee. There will be no indoor coffee hour that day (September 13.)

Our Neighbor’s Closet is located in the front of the building but off to the right in a small nook inside the old outdoor food pantry.
Every thing in there is free so if you need something take it!
We are looking for a couple volunteers to take over organizing the closet since we have so many generous donors😊
Contact Cheryl at the church office if you’re interested in organizing the clothes and she will get you to the right contact person.

🌟FEATURED VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH🌟

Our Featured Volunteer of the Month was suggested to me by another member for her 10+ years of dedication to the Stewardship Board. Let me introduce you to Ann Marie Heinz. Ann Marie and her family started attending Bay View in 1978. In her earlier years at church she was a Sunday School and Confirmation teacher as well as a Confirmation Mentor. She was also a Co Superintendent of Sunday School which entailed recruiting teachers, ordering supplies and planning events.
Back in the day Ann Marie was on a Hunger Committee and sat on the Church Council for 6 years with 3 of those years as President.
During Covid she was also on the Personnel Committee.
As I said before, she is on the Stewardship Board. Through that she has been a part of such things as the Time, Treasure, Talent mail outs, the Christmas gift mail outs, and the ever evolving fundraisers for the Capitol campaign. She was also on the MSP Committee in the recent past and is currently on the very important Call Committee.
She is in an art group that has been making table decorations for the local retirement homes as well as being in the Quilting group which voted to donate there quilts to a couple women’s shelter in Green Bay.
She has volunteered at Treasures in the Trunk (our car trunk garage sale that was held this year), and has helped out at funerals in the kitchen.

When I asked Ann Marie what drives her to volunteer at church she said “I know that many hands are necessary to keep Bay Veiw and its ministries alive. If I feel I can fill a need, I will volunteer to help. Bay Veiw has been in an important part of my life for nearly 50 years. I am committed to its mission and it success.”

I asked Ann Marie what she likes about volunteering she told me “the fellowship involved. I’ve gotten to know many members much better by working on a committee or a ministry with them. Those relationships create an even deeper feeling of belonging to the church family.
Please join me in thanking Ann Marie for nearly half a centuries worthy of volunteer work!!!

The Interfaith Housing Coalition is asking for donations of Personal Care Items. There items can be anything from toiletry items to cleaning products. The item can be brought to Bay View.
Our office lady Cheryl can assist with directing you where the items can go.
The IHC are currently working on remodeling a home that will be used as transitional housing for a currently unhoused family.
The personal care items will be used to assist this family. THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THIS CAUSE!!!
