On Tuesday our kindergarteners took our first field trip. We went to Plum Loco Rescue Farm. We all fed the animals carrots and feed pellets. We learned that we needed to use a flat palm when feeding the animals. After our pails were empty, we got to play in the farm hands- on area. We got to play in the Vet Office, Restaurant, and Store. There were games to play and bikes to ride. We had a lot of fun even though it was pretty warm out. We finished our stay by eating our lunches in the gazebo. Thanks to all who came to help.

Lots of great thinking going on in grades 5-6 already in the first few days of school. Thoughtful answers are being rewarded with the wearing of the "smarty-pants" headband!
