So, we've been learning about a few different Saints since last November, including the likes of St. Teresa of Calcutta, St. Thomas Aquinas, and more. This Sunday, we're looking at the life of St. Augustine of Hippo, and the church secretary created some fine bulletin artwork with some help from AI-generation tools.

Okay, it might not make the cut for the bulletin. :D Augustine is sainted for his conversion and consequent writings that shaped Western Christianity, and for his dedicated service as Bishop of Hippo, in North Africa.

Return of the Great Corn-Holy-O took place on Monday, June 29. We had 22 guys show up to throw bags and eat brats for an evening of fellowship. Pastor Gomez took first place, after winning two games by the slimmest of margins.

Our brother in Christ has been called home. Rev. Paul Thierfelder, former vacancy pastor at Prince of Peace and current member, died on Wednesday, June 10, at 1:08pm.

We grieve with Suzi and their family, while rejoicing in the hope of life eternal.

Funeral is Tuesday, June 23 at 1:00pm.
