The holidays can be especially difficult when you’re grieving the loss of someone you love. You don’t have to walk through this season alone.

Join us this Friday from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Tropical Farms Baptist Church for GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays. This is a special event offering encouragement, practical help, and hope for those navigating grief during the holiday season. In the midst of sorrow, we can find comfort in the promises of God and the hope we have in Jesus Christ.

TFBC Mission Team Days 3-5: It’s been a couple of days since we have been able to update as we have spent them prepping for and helping host a camp up in the mountains. Along the way, we were able to work in a couple more home visits with our partners here as well as check out a significant local historic site. Once up at camp, our team helped with various projects around the property, including getting the camp ready for winter as well as helping host a day camp for a school for the blind. It’s been a continued blessing for our team to see and be a part of how the Lord is using the work here to make inroads for the gospel in this difficult place.

TFBC Mission Team -Day 1 (evening) and Day 2: Thank you for all who prayed for our couples dinner last night. It was a joy to hear our couples share about the hope and life the gospel brings to Christian marriages. After shaking off some jet lag this morning, we had a great Lord’s Day worshiping with the encouraging body of believers in the small church here. Then later in the day had some good conversations about future opportunities to come along side the work being done here, after which Dr. Steve went with Keith to make some local “house calls” to offer whatever help, both physically and spiritually, they could. Continue to pray for safety in the week ahead as we prepare to help host a camp for a school for the blind and continue to serve in whatever ways the Lord brings to us. Again, thank you for your prayers. We of course missed our TFBC family today!
