Neola United Methodist Church

Pastor Paul Milligan was the former adult Sunday School facilitator for Neola UMC. He responded to God's calling by entering into the United Methodist Christ Servant Ministry program, which guided him to an MDIV program at Evangelical Theological Seminary in 2009. Pastor Paul became a local licensed pastor in June 2014 and served at Belfast Wesley UMC before receiving his assignment to Neola UMC i

n 2020. In March 2020, we added an online worship service using ZOOM. The online service meets at 9am for about 30 minutes; contact Pastor Paul to receive the weekly ZOOM invitation. Our in-person worship service begins every Sunday morning at 10 am and usually runs to about 11:15am. Pastor Paul schedules a Youth Bible Study from September to April. Its purpose: Provide youth a new opportunity to learn the stories of the Bible that shape our faith and our Christian beliefs. As with any good study we started at the beginning with Genesis and the Story of Adam and Eve. The Youth Bible Study meets once a month on Saturday morning at 10:30am in the Neola UMC sanctuary. In December, we open our Bibles to the recount the birth of Jesus Christ; in March we recount the events leading to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
