Appenzell Picnic The annual Appenzell Picnic is sponsored by St. Mark's Lutheran Church and has been held for over 100 years.

Good morning everybody!

Another year is in the books, and another year where we continue to be amazed by the turnout this event gets every year. The rain was all around us, and yet the picnic woods stayed dry, the food stayed cooking, and the cakes kept walking. It was quite something to watch the picnic not only continue, but seemingly continue to grow.

We cannot thank you all enough for coming put and enjoying the day with us. Thank you to all our volunteers who make the even what it is. We could and would not do it without both!!

We’re so busy I can’t even post on Facebook. But hey, that’s a good thing! Better to be off your phone and enjoying real human interaction.

We still have chicken dinners!
