Today is Nov.1st and the beginning of the gratitude countdown to Thanksgiving. I have this little decoration in my hall where I hang my coat. It has the word "thankful" on both sides of the leaves. It reminds me that I am thankful for so much and it reminds me to BE thankful. Colossians 3:15 "And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful."
Nov 1- I am thankful that when we belong to Jesus, the peace of God can rule in our hearts no matter what is going on around us. God's got our backs...our fronts....and He's working all around us. The peace comes in that I trust Him to lead us through the valley of shadows, no matter what crazy thing happens in this fallen world, at war with the enemy of God.
