Christ Community is one church on five locations with campuses in the western suburbs of Chicago: Aurora, DeKalb, Huntley, St. Welcome to Christ Community Church, where our desire is to do the best job possible of loving God and loving people. reat emphasis on four key values. The first is Belonging. Whether you are a spiritual seeker who is just beginning to investigate a personal relationship with God or a committed follower of Jesus Christ, there is a place for you at Christ Community Church. Although we are a large church, hundreds of small Community Groups offer the opportunity to experience intimate friendships. A second key value is Growing. You'll find that the Bible is taught here in a way that is relevant to your every-day life. Heart-felt worship will move you closer to God. Interaction with others who are pursuing God will stimulate your own spiritual growth. Serving is a third key value. There are dozens of ministries to become involved in at Christ Community Church that will tap the unique gifts and abilities that God has given you. And beyond our walls, we are serving alongside area-wide partners who are ministering to the poor, unwed mothers, those in jail, the elderly - people with distressing needs. Finally, we are a church that values Reaching. We want to reach out to friends and neighbors who are looking for a personal relationship with God. And we want our reach to extend around the world, so we are working with partners in places like Bangladesh, Sierra Leone and the Czech Republic.

There’s nothing quite like the energy of a new school year — and our church family was blessed to share in it! We partner with three amazing schools in our community: Sunnydale Elementary, Canton Middle School, and Tefft Middle School.

Here’s how we got to serve:
🎨 Decorating welcome boards for returning students
☕ Serving teachers during their kickoff meetings
❤️ Mentoring students through our Kids Hope program

It’s an honor and a privilege to support, serve, and pray over these schools — their students, teachers, and staff — as they begin this new year.

Phase 2 of demolition is underway!

Thanks to your generosity through the Places Need Churches Campaign, and a crew of incredible volunteers, we’ve saved hundreds of thousands of dollars renovating the newly purchased building across from campus.

Soon, this space will serve our students and community. But we’re not done yet.

We had so much fun today at the StreamWood Summer Celebration, met lots of amazing neighbors, and enjoyed the parade. Thank you to all of our great volunteers for coming out and thank you to the Good Neighbor Food Truck for stopping by with good food!

This weekend our six campuses came together as one church to pack over 5,500 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child our StreamWood campus was buzzing with JOY as we filled boxes with toys, packed the with love, and prayed for the hope of the gospel to reach there homes and communities. Thank you to everyone who came ready to serve.
