This event will feature two simultaneous sessions tailored to meet the needs of our diverse audience:

Session 1: A deep dive into understanding secondary trauma, its impact on mental well-being, and strategies for self-care and healing.

Session 2: “The Silent Impact” – exploring how microtraumas and everyday stress affect us and practical tools to manage them.

As the election approaches, American Muslim Advocacy Network(AMAN) is organizing a series of events focusing on examining national policies through our Islamic values. Their 3rd event will be “Election Ballot Guidance & Understanding Local Issues” on Friday October 25th at 8:00 PM. We believe this will be an enlightening and engaging discussion, and we hope you can join! American Muslims have a great responsibility to speak out and advocate for national policies that benefit our communities both at home and abroad. Baitul-Ilm will be holding a Majlis of Fatiha and a community Dua for the people of Gaza and Lebanon. As the global community confronts significant challenges, this gathering serves as an opportunity to strengthen our connection with Allah (SWT) and collectively pray for peace, justice, and the well-being of all those enduring hardship.

Mahdi Youth Sisters and Sacred Roots Student Collective are excited to host a Hiking & Halaqah on Saturday, September 28th. We’ll begin the day by meeting at 11 AM at Waveland Softball Fields for a refreshing hike, followed by a scenic walk to Montrose Beach. There, we’ll enjoy a relaxing picnic and dive into a meaningful halaqah on the topic of Tawakkul.

Please bring your favorite dish to share for the potluck, and make sure to sign up using the link provided to confirm your attendance and contribution. We kindly ask everyone to arrive on time, as we’ll begin the hike shortly after gathering.
