Proverbs 19:9 (KJV): A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.

Despite this Scripture, many believers have become comfortable with lying, often justifying it as a "white lie" or a "small fib." But the truth is, lying is a serious sin that can have severe consequences.

In Revelation 21:8, we see that lying and murder are mentioned together as sins that will lead to eternal punishment.

This should be a wake-up call for you and I to examine our own hearts and actions. Are we prone to lying or exaggerating the truth? If so, it's time to repent and seek forgiveness.

Let's make a conscious effort to speak the truth, even when it's difficult or uncomfortable.

Remember, honesty is always the best policy, and it's the only way to build trust and integrity in our relationships.

PRAYER: Father, please forgive me for my sins and help me to forsake lies forever, in the name of JESUS 🙏.
