AED Training Training at St Mark
On Wednesday evening, June 3, 6:00 PM, an AED (Automated external defibrillator) will be offered here at St Mark. The training event will likely last less than 30 minutes and will give you the information and hands on training you will need to operate an AED in case of emergency. Memorial Services for Reverend Paul Bengtson will be held at held here at St Mark (1614 West 5th Stree, Storm Lake, IA) on Saturday, June 6
10:00AM- Visitation
11:00AM- Memorial Service followed by luncheon

The service WILL BE streamed via Facebook Live on this page. The stream will start @ 10:55 AM.

Clergy in attendance are invited to vest and the color for the day will be red.

SAINT MARK MEMBERS AND STAFF
HAVE YOU TRAINED TO USE AN AED?
“An AED, or automated external defibrillator, is a portable device that analyzes heart rhythms and can deliver an electric shock to restore a normal heartbeat in someone experienceing sudden cardiac arrest”. Thanks to a generous $850 grant from the BV County Community Foundation Grant, and some matching funds from others, an AED will be installed and available at St Mark. We are in the process of acquiring the AED and we have scheduled training with a certified trainer. It is one of those pieces of equipment that we hope we will never have to use, but if it does need to be used it will be available 24/7 at St Mark. The training opportunities we are making available are:

Saturday- May 30, 10:00 AM
Wednesday- June 3 6:00 PM
Wednesday- June 10 6:00 PM

Saturday- June 20 10:00 AM

FRIENDS WITH FOOD UPDATES for THIS THURSDAY.

We just got news that the Food Bank of Iowa truck will be arriving at approximately 11:40. (give or take 30 minutes) . So at the moment our schedule looks like this:

Thursday, May 21:

9 a.m.: set up

11:30: unload and set up food

12:00: Pack bags

1:00 --4:00 Deliver Food
