Memorial Day Weekend: 11am Sunday, May 24: Worship Service
Our Memorial Day message will focus on Scriptures like John 15:13 below. You'll hear of those who gave their lives for country as well as those for God. We will also spend at least a few minutes on Rededicate 250. Worship will include music, prayer, Scripture. Sunday is the 250th Anniversary of the proclamation by Congress, setting May 17, 1776 as a "day of Humiliation, Fasting and Prayer" throughout the colonies.

This Sunday's message is on spiritual adoption. When we are forgiven, we are received into God's family and have rights to all the privileges of God's children, Galatians 4:4-7. We will also spend at least a few minutes on Rededicate 250. Worship will include music, prayer, Scripture. 11:00am, A favorite part of our service on Mother's Day is the time of sharing and/or listening to others share about their mothers.
The message will be about exceptional women, especially their work and ministry: Matthew 27:55; 2 Kings 4:10, Luke 2:36, Acts 9:39, 16:14-15 even Judges 4:4, 5:17.
Worship will include music, prayer, Scripture and gifts for all women. Please join Journey Church at "La Bou" Conference Room, 2324 Grand Canal Blvd. Ste 2, Stockton (across from the main entrance of the Hilton).
12:30pm Fellowship
Please join us also for lunch. We will treat all women--mothers or not, married or single--to lunch.
