CRIME SCENE INTERCESSORS (CSI) - Wednesday, August 26, 2026 – Praise God, there has not been a homicide in Stockton this past week! Therefore, today at noon, six people from two different churches gathered at the corner of Buena Vista Ave & Lucerne Ave to pray for God's Blessings and healing on the New Genesis Outreach Ministries, whose pastor, Dwight Williams, died suddenly last Monday. Bishop Dwight Williams was a pillar in our community, a faith-leader, entrepreneur, political leader and commentator and so much more. We prayed comfort for his family and congregation. We prayed for the next generation of leaders and the congregation of New Genesis Outreach Ministries. We thanked God for our friend and Kingdom partner, Bishop Dwight Williams, for his legacy and a faith-filled life that impacted so many in our city and region. While we are thankful he is present with the LORD, he will be greatly missed here.

CRIME SCENE INTERCESSORS (CSI) - Wednesday, August 19, 2026 – Four people from two different churches gathered near 2260 S. Netherton Ave (near Farmington Rd) where a man was beaten and killed early on August 9th. We confessed to God that we are still a people who practice human sacrifice, choosing violence and acting on our anger and our own sense of justice, taking another life thinking that we are making the world a better place. We acknowledged that the victim had life and purpose and no one had the right to take that away. We acknowledged that we are a people who desperately need God’s grace and mercy. We acknowledged that there are so many people who know of God, but disqualify themselves from the love of God that God Himself wants us all to receive. We prayed for the family of the victim that they would know God’s comfort and counsel at this difficult time. And for those who have to travel to be here for the memorial service, we prayed for God’s provision and safe and smooth travel. That they would know that God catches every tear that falls and He will continue to meet every single one of their needs. We prayed unity over the family, even in their time of grief. We prayed that God would take what the enemy meant for evil and redeem it for the good of those who love Him. We prayed that God would restore His peace to this neighborhood, that otherwise appears quiet. We prayed for the families and people that live here, that they would feel safe again. As we shared in communion, we acknowledged the love of God sending His one and only Son to show us the way and to go to the cross for us. We thanked God that even while we were still His enemies, He pursues after us because of His love. And because of the price Jesus paid for us, we can come boldly to God. We asked God to do a transforming work on these streets and to break the curse over this land. And we thanked Him for restoring His peace and His hope here.
