As the United States prepares to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. bishops will consecrate our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 11, 2026.
The Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception joyfully join the bishops in this solemn act of faith, prayer, and hope — entrusting our country to the merciful love of Christ.
At this historic moment, we ask the Sacred Heart of Jesus to bring healing, unity, conversion, and renewal to our nation.
In the Heart of Jesus, we find mercy.
In His love, we find our true freedom.
In His Sacred Heart, we entrust the future of America.
Together, let us pray as one Nation under God’s Mercy.

In today’s homily, Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, reflects on Jesus’ command to “repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God” (Mt 22:21). Just as Caesar placed his image on coins to show what belonged to him, so too has God placed His own image on each of us from the moment of our creation. Father Chris reminds us that we are called to be faithful citizens in society, respecting civil law, but always remaining aligned with God’s law. When society denies or contradicts the law of God, we must stand firm in faith and remember that our lives, our souls, and our ultimate loyalty belong to God.

Artificial intelligence can be a powerful tool , but like every tool, it must be guided by truth, wisdom, and the dignity of the human person.
In his homily reflecting on Pope Leo XIV’s new encyclical Magnifica Humanitas, Fr. Chris Alar reminds us that technology is never neutral when it begins to shape the heart. AI can help us communicate, learn, and create , but it can also distract, deceive, isolate, and pull souls away from Jesus.
The devil does not need to destroy faith all at once. Sometimes he only needs to keep us entertained, confused, anxious, or too busy to pray.
The Church calls us to use every advancement with discernment, asking:
Does this lead me closer to Christ?
Does it protect human dignity?
Does it serve truth or replace it?
Technology should never become our master. Christ alone is Lord.

In February 1943, in Rosica, two Marian priests gave the ultimate witness of love.
Blessed Anthony Leszczewicz, MIC, and Blessed George Kaszyra, MIC, were detained by N**i soldiers while serving their people. When they were given the chance to escape death, they chose instead to remain with the faithful entrusted to their care.
In their final days, they heard confessions, celebrated Mass, baptized converts, and brought hope to those facing a fiery death. On February 17, 1943, they were burned with the people they refused to abandon.
Beatified by Pope St. John Paul II on June 13, 1999, Blessed Anthony and Blessed George remind us that true shepherds lay down their lives for their sheep.
Blessed Anthony and Blessed George, pray for us.
Through your intercession, may we remain faithful, courageous, and merciful in every trial.
