We commemorate and honor the life and legacy of the Rev. Jesse L. Jackson Sr., a steadfast advocate of faith, reconciliation and activism.

Memories of the 2016 ELCA Churchwide Assembly include Jackson's visit to a workshop, where he shared reflections with the African Descent Lutheran Association.

We give thanks for his courage and his unwavering call for our nation to stand on the side of faith and justice.
