God
There is only one God (Deut 6:4, Isa. 43:10, John 17:3; 1 Cor. 8:5-6) who has revealed Himself to us as three persons, the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3-4; John 1:1, 10:30-33). There is only one way to God, and that is through the second person of the Trinity, Jesus Christ (John 14:6; Mat. 11:27, Luke 10:22). All others who claim to be god(s) are liars and deceivers and are wo
rking toward the destruction of mankind. God the Father: The first person of the Trinity, Creator of the universe, and the Author of the Plan of Salvation (John 5:19; Isa. 42:5 Heb. 5:9). He has communicated Himself to us through His Word as perfect, holy, righteous, just, and fair, but the chiefest of these is love (1 John 4:8). He is the perfect example to earthly fathers (Eph. 5:1; Ps. 68:5; Ps. 10:14; Ps. 68:6; Luke 15) . God the Son: The second person of the Trinity, He is with God, and is God, and is the Word made flesh (John 1:1-3), He is Immanuel which means “God with us” (Matt. 1:23). It is through Him and only Him (John 14:6) that we can be restored to right relationship with God the Father, the first person of the Trinity. Jesus is “exclusive,” not “inclusive,” there is no other way to God, no other path to salvation, except through Him (John 10:9; Rev. 1:18, 3:7). God the Holy Spirit: The third person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit indwells believers, sanctifying them to God (John 14:16-17). The Holy Spirit has a mind (Romans 8:27), He has emotions (Eph. 4:30, Luke 10:21), He testifies of Christ (John 15:26), He reveals truth (John 16:13), He convicts (John 16:8), He leads (Romans 8:14), He strengthens and encourages (Acts 9:31), and He comforts (John 14:16). The Bible
The Bible is the infallible inspired Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Tim. 4:1; Eph. 3:3-5). Consider this, that the Bible was written over a period of 1500 years, in three different languages by 40 different authors, and yet these 66 books maintain a common thread from Genesis to Revelation, God’s redemption of mankind from sin and death through the Messiah, Jesus Christ. The New Testament is in the Old Testament concealed, and the Old Testament is in the New Testament revealed. The Bible, from beginning to end, is a single testament of Jesus Christ. Also consider the prophecies that have been fulfilled. The chiefest of these is the foretold destruction Jerusalem, the Jewish Temple and the nation Israel, which occurred in 70 A.D. at the hands of the Roman 5th legion (Mat. 24:2). The Jewish people were then dispersed among the nations (Hosea 3:4-5; Hosea 6:1). In Ezekiel 37:1-14 the return of the Jewish people to their ancient homeland to become a nation again was prophesied. On May 18th, 1948 the prophecy was fulfilled when Israel became a nation. Never in history has a people come out of total destruction and dispersal to become a nation again, and yet today we have the nation of Israel, in danger, but it does exist, just as foretold. Amazing (Eze. 20:34; Isa. 11:11-12). The Great Commission
The commandment of Jesus to the church is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with love, mercy, and compassion (Mat. 28:16-20). The Great Commission is the last recorded commandment Jesus gave to His disciples, and is the foundation for Christian evangelism and missions throughout the world. As some have said, it is not “The Great Suggestion,” quite the contrary, it is His admonition to us to put our faith to work. Water Baptism
Baptism is by immersion as demonstrated by John the Baptist when he baptized Jesus. Baptism is a public confession of faith in Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. Through baptism we identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 6:3-6; Col 2:11-14; Acts 2:38)
Salvation
We believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation. We believe salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, virgin born, sinless and perfect. He died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day, ascended into Heaven and will one day return to Earth for His Church. Salvation and eternal life is gained by believing, through faith, in Jesus Christ and His redemptive work on the cross for the remission of sin. Satan
We believe Satan, because of selfish pride, sought to overthrow God and sit on His throne as ruler. Satan was cast out of heaven and took one third of the angels with him. Satan has already lost the war at the Cross of Calvary, nevertheless, he seeks to corrupt and destroy as many men and women as he can before he is cast with his angels into Hell. All people who have rejected Jesus Christ will share Satan’s fate. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe that when a person comes to Jesus Christ and receives salvation the Holy Spirit places the believer in union with Christ and with other believers (1 Cor. 12:12-13, Rom. 6:1-4 cf Gal. 2:20). All believers have therefore been baptized by the Holy Spirit and is the reality of every believer in Jesus Christ, being raised in newness of life in Him. This being the case, then every believer should exercise the spiritual gifts given to him by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:1-11). The Gifts of the Spirit
We believe that when a person comes to Christ and receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit, that He enables the believer to walk in the gifts of the Spirit. The giftings are varied and are given as the Holy Spirit wills, for the well being of the Body of Christ (the Church). The gifts are: wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophesy, to discern between spirits, to speak in languages the speaker does not know, and the ability to interpret those languages (1 Cor. 12:7-10).
