Timeline

1948 - Pastor Irvin Stonesifer and 30 people organized the church as an independent Pentecostal Church.
1963- The church was brought into affiliation with the Assemblies of God
1975-1979- Pastor Dan Jones served as lead pastor.
1979-2004- Pastor Malcom H. Van de Riet was called to be the lead pastor.
1988- property was purchased between Aylor Road and Interstate 81. April 2004 - Pastor J

ohn Miller now currently serves as lead pastor of our church. We are blessed to have him and his family as leaders in our church.

This is for anyone in our community who could use a little extra help right now.

Groceries will be distributed first come, first serve while supplies last.
No sign-ups, no requirements — just pull up and we’ll take care of you.

The book of Revelation can seem so scary for so many. It’s a book depicting the end of the world as we know it. It’s chaotic, it’s messy. And yes, it can be pretty scary. But the Apostle John didn’t write this book to fill us with fear. He wrote it to give us a message of hope, comfort, and certainty. The hope of knowing that Jesus holds final victory over sin and death. The comfort of knowing that he will come again and make all things new. And the certainty that God will once again dwell with his people.

Over the last two weeks we sent out missions teams to Lithuania and DC. Our teams served and prayed hard!

Projects were accomplished, lives were changed, and the light of Christ was shared🙌

Thank you to our missionaries for hosting Journey Church Vilnius Urban Outreach DC and thank YOU church for your continued support and prayers for missions. Together we help to share the gospel, to the ends of the earth🌏✝️
