The Return on Investment is Real.
Each spring since 2016, Power Cross has held an Alumni Wall Hanging Ceremony. For some, it represents the achievement of a lifelong dream. For others, it serves as inspiration for what is possible through hard work, perseverance, and faith.
Last week, we were blessed to hold ceremonies at both of our campuses.
Grandmothers wiped away tears. Tough 18-year-old young men couldn't stop smiling. And younger boys sat in awe, wondering if one day their picture would hang on that wall as well.
At Power Cross, we are more than an athletic program—we are a college and career preparation ministry. Every day, we work to help young men discover and maximize the gifts and talents God has entrusted to them, opening doors to brighter futures.
This year's graduating class included 11 young men who earned athletic scholarships to attend college and one young man who chose to serve our nation through enlistment in the United States Army.
The combined value of the scholarships earned by this year's class is an incredible $3,074,350.
To put that into perspective, the entire Power Cross operating budget last year was approximately $2,650,000. In other words, the value of the scholarships earned by just one graduating class exceeded the annual cost of serving nearly 400 young men for an entire year.
That is a remarkable return on investment.
Yet the impact extends far beyond dollars. These young men are becoming future husbands, fathers, business owners, coaches, community leaders, and disciples of Christ. Their success today will influence generations tomorrow.

Our $1,020,000 Matching Funds Challenge continues through July 15th. We are grateful to report that generous supporters have already contributed $356,000 during the first two weeks of the challenge.
While we are encouraged by this strong start, we still have a significant distance to go to reach our goal and secure the operational funding needed to continue serving the hundreds of young men who walk through our doors each year.
