Through athletics & Christian discipleship, we are reshaping the future of our youth & communities. Jeff volunteered to coach his son’s basketball team.

Jeff Storment grew up in a home with a father who
struggled with drugs, alcohol, and anger. Often
the effects were destructive and eventually lead
to Jeff having a hole in his heart where a father’s
love should have been. Years later after Jeff was
married (wife-Natalie Moore) with a son of his
own, he found himself traveling down the same
path his father had taken. After experiencing
some very difficult times, Jeff gave his life to the
Lord and began to make some major changes. Many of the players on the team were missing
practice. Coach Jeff would make them run,
but they were still missing practice time. The
boys finally told him that it wasn’t their fault they
were missing practice. They explained that there
was either no one at home to bring them, no
money for gas, or their family didn’t have a car. After a few practices, Jeff could see that many of
these boys needed more than just a ride. It was then that Jeff felt God’s calling for his
life. Following God’s direction Jeff and his wife
founded the Power Cross Ministry. Power Cross began as a small Bible study group
consisting of the Storment’s son T.J., and four
of his friends. Each week there would be another
boy waiting in the pick up line after school to see
if he could come to Power Cross. Currently,
Power Cross works with over 200 young men in
Statesville, NC and has seen more than 400 young
men take part in the program. In 2017, Power Cross expanded to serve Salisbury, NC with a 2nd campus for the ministry. If you would like to hear the complete

At Power Cross, we believe coaching is more than teaching a young man how to shoot a basketball or win a wrestling match. It's an opportunity to build character, develop discipline, strengthen faith, and help shape the next generation of leaders.

Power Cross is excited to announce a new scholarship opportunity for Power Cross Alumni and current high school seniors.

The JEM Scholarship will provide up to $25,000.00 annually to provide:
2-year, 4-year, or Trade School educational funding.

Allowing a young man the great opportunity to further their education or gain the trade skills need for a lifelong career. At Power Cross, our commitment to our young men doesn't end when they graduate. We want to continue walking alongside them as they grow into the men and leaders God has called them to be.

What an incredible few nights of worship!

It was amazing to see so many people from our community come together with one purpose: to worship Jesus!

But here’s the thing about revival. It doesn’t end when the music stops and everyone goes home.

Revival is about more than gathering together for a few nights. It’s about what happens afterward. It’s about taking that same passion for Jesus into our homes, our churches, and our everyday lives.

Our encouragement to everyone who joined us is to keep that fire burning! Get connected with a local church, build relationships with people who will encourage you in your faith, and look for opportunities to love and serve those around you.

If you’re looking for a way to get involved and make a difference, we’d love for you to be part of what God is doing through Power Cross. There are so many opportunities to invest in the next generation and serve our community.

Revival isn’t just about what God does in a moment. It’s about how we respond and what we do moving forward.
