No perfect testimony or perfectly worked recovery for me either. Just put one foot in front of the other.

Week 4: Consistent Steps, Real Change - Small Steps Still Count

Growth doesn’t usually look dramatic. It looks consistent.
It’s choosing the next right step
even when it feels small.
Healing isn’t one big breakthrough it’s a series of quiet decisions.

To show up.
To reach out.
To pause.
To try again.

Even when you’re tired.
Even when it feels slow.
Small steps don’t mean you’re stuck.
They mean you’re still moving.
You don’t need to do everything.
You just need to keep going.

✨ Try this today:
Pick one small step
and follow through
That’s enough for today

💬 Let’s talk:
What’s one small step you’re taking this week?

“Sometimes the storm isn’t there to disrupt your life, but to clear your path.”

Not every storm arrives to destroy you.

Sometimes storms remove what was blocking your growth.

And honestly, while you are inside difficult seasons, it rarely feels that way at first. Pain feels disruptive. Loss feels confusing. Unexpected changes can make life seem unstable and uncertain.

But storms reveal things.

They expose weak foundations.
Unhealthy attachments.
Wrong directions.
People and patterns that could not survive the process God was bringing you through.

At first, it feels chaotic.

But later, many people realize the storm was clearing away what no longer belonged in their future.

Because sometimes comfort keeps people stuck.
Sometimes God allows disruption because staying where you are would quietly limit the life, healing, or purpose He is trying to lead you toward.

And honestly, some blessings only become visible after the storm removes what was standing in the way.

The storm clears false relationships.
False security.
False versions of yourself built around fear, pride, or dependence on things other than God.

That’s why storms are not always punishment.

Sometimes they are preparation.

Preparation for stronger faith.
Clearer direction.
Deeper peace.
A future no longer blocked by what your heart was too afraid to release on its own.

And one of the hardest spiritual lessons is learning that God can use uncomfortable seasons to realign your entire life.

Not because He stopped loving you…
but because He loves you enough not to leave you trapped where you were.

So if life currently feels stormy, don’t immediately assume everything is falling apart.

God may be clearing the path ahead.

Removing distractions.
Breaking chains.
Redirecting your steps.
Making room for growth, healing, and purpose you could not yet fully see while everything still felt comfortable.

Because sometimes the storm that shakes your life is the very thing God uses to guide you toward the peace, clarity, and future you truly needed all along.

Our relationships can either lift us up or drag us down.

While we all need close connections with others, sometimes the people we let into our lives end up causing more pain than support. You can let go of that pain and move forward.

Use that pain as fuel and motivation for change by building your boundaries and addressing the roots of your pain.
