Jessica,
Since November 2019, you have faithfully served the children and families of Southbridge Community Church with humility, grace, and excellence. Much of what you do happens behind the scenes and often goes unnoticed, but its impact has been felt by countless children, parents, volunteers, and staff.
You have answered volunteer call-outs, stepped into classrooms when needed, and carried the weight of ministry with a servant’s heart. But you did more than lead a ministry, you built a team. You equipped volunteers to be prepared, confident, and ready to share the gospel every Sunday. Because of your leadership, children from the nursery up through 5th grade have always felt welcomed, loved, and valued.
Your kindness, compassion, and wisdom have left a lasting mark on our church. When you taught, you didn’t simply share information, you challenged hearts and called people to action. You faithfully walked alongside children as they took their first steps of faith, having gospel conversations, encouraging families, and celebrating life change. Time and again, you chose to serve in a classroom so a volunteer could sit in the worship service and witness a child they had invested in be baptized. Your selflessness was evident in both the big moments and the small ones.
You have Built a Foundation That Lasts.
While we are sad to see you leave Southbridge, we are excited for you as you begin this new chapter at First Baptist. We are grateful that God is continuing to use your gifts right here in our community, and we look forward to seeing your ministry continue to grow.
Church family, we would love for you to join us tomorrow during Community Hour at 9:30am as we take time to thank Jessica for her years of faithful service. If Jessica has impacted you, your family, or your child in any way, we encourage you to stop by, bring a card, give her a hug, and share how her ministry has made a difference in your life.
