Sunday Sermon Recap | Trust Him and Let Him Lead | Pastor Matt Caton
Sunday was a special day as we honored our graduates and were reminded that life brings many new beginnings, but we do not have to walk into them alone.
From Abraham’s story in Genesis 12, we were reminded that God often calls us beyond what is comfortable and familiar. Abraham did not have a map. He did not have every detail figured out. He simply had God’s promise.
The same is true for us.
Whether you are graduating, starting something new, facing a big decision, or stepping into an uncertain season, God is not asking you to know every step ahead. He is asking you to trust Him with the next one.
We were also reminded through Lot’s choices in Genesis 13 that not every good-looking opportunity is God’s best. Direction matters. Every decision we make has the potential to lead us closer to God or farther away from Him.
When making decisions, we were encouraged to:
📖 Consult Scripture
🙏 Pray for wisdom
👥 Seek godly counsel
🕊️ Wait for God’s peace
Most importantly, seek God first.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Matthew 6:33 KJV
Congratulations to all of our graduates! As you step into what is next, remember: God has already gone before you.
You may not know what tomorrow holds, but you can know the One who holds tomorrow.
Trust Him and let Him lead.
