In January, we had the privilege of taking a group of our older youth to CrossCon26 in Louisville, KY. This is the second year we’ve been able to attend, and once again the Lord used it in a big way.
It is such a gift to sit under the preaching of men who are passionate, faithful to Scripture, and deeply committed to making Christ known. Our students were challenged, encouraged, and reminded that the Gospel is worthy of their entire lives.
One of the major themes of CrossCon is missions. While not everyone is called to go overseas, we were reminded that the mission field is everywhere — in our schools, our workplaces, our neighborhoods, and our homes. We are all called to live sent.
Another emphasis of the conference was the beauty and necessity of the local church. Following Christ was never meant to be done alone. God uses the church to grow us, anchor us in truth, and send us out to do His work.
This year’s message ringing in our ears:
“Make Your Life Count.”
On our way to Louisville, we made a fun pit stop at the Ark Encounter. It gave us extra time together and sparked great conversations about the truth of God’s Word and His faithfulness through every generation.
We are so thankful for safe travels, for leaders who pour into these students, and for youth who are eager to know and follow the Lord. Please continue praying that what they heard would take deep root and produce lasting fruit.
