Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Dear Lord, sometimes I think it’s hard to hear Your voice and direction, but I also know there have been times I’ve heard clearly and ignored. Forgive me for the times I reject what You are trying to do in me and in my life. It’s a scary thought if You were to leave me alone so please don’t. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

In the council of the holy ones You are greatly feared; You are more awesome than all who surround You. Who is like You, Lord God Almighty? You, Lord, are mighty, and Your faithfulness surrounds You. Dear Lord, I thank You for the beautiful variety found in creation; the beauty in diversity and in the family of God. Salvation itself is such an amazing miracle; yet there is simplicity in Christ. The salvation of man through different times, cultures, ethnicity, language - You are truly a wondrous God. Help me strive for true unity within Your body, true devotion for my brothers and sisters, and true praise for Your perfect plan of redemption. Amen.

Dear Lord, we can have a form of godliness but deny the power; yet we somehow declare with our lips there is power in the Name of Jesus. What is in a name? You are Truth (John 14:6); You are righteous (2 Corinthians 5:21); You are the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6); You are the Author and Perfector of our faith (Hebrews 12:2); You are our Savior (1 John 4:14); You are the Word made flesh (John 1:1,14); and You live in me by Your Holy Spirit (Galatians 2:20). All of which is the full armor of God. May I know You more, love You more, love Your Word more, and love praying to You more. It is truly in Your Name and all You are I pray, amen!

Dear Heavenly Father, am I displaying enough outwardly in keeping up religious appearances that I’m allowing my inward devotions and motives to go unchecked? Oh Lord, strengthen whatever is remaining, no matter how small, because You can do more with whatever I have to offer and can start a revival fire within me that matches and surpasses whatever seems evident to the outside. I want my devotion to You pure, alive, and right. In Jesus’ Name, amen.

Dear Lord, I’m so thankful You love our church; You prompt us to pray for her and to come together. You lead our pastor and teachers to study and use them to share Your heart in Your Word so we can grow in greater understanding and love for You. You lead us in worship, declaring and encouraging us to persevere in faith. Thank You for loving us; continue reminding us of the blessing we have in our church family. Amen.
