Hope Presbyterian Church

Hope Presbyterian Church We find God's love through the community of one another, through prayer, through mission work. Like all humans, we get lost, turn inward, repeat the familiar.

But through God's love and Spirit, we serve Christ, seek change, and offer hope. Join us!

Some of the pets remembered at our ceremony Sunday afternoon. Names were written on sticks and candles lit for missing fur and feather family members. Thanks to Leah Steiner for her reflection on grief and grieving. We hope to make this an annual event.

This “job” was truly my favorite. It all started with a preacher’s wife who believed in me. Before a service one day, she gave me an iPad and asked me to please do my best to record her sermon. I was thrilled. She helped me find faith in my life and saved me from a very low point that was pulling me away from my family and life in general. I followed her to Hope.

This church has brought me closer to God and faith than I ever imagined. My time with pastor Chuck has been very healing. I have been dealing with stress over a tremendous amount of loss. I’m also grateful that I could involve my daughter and granddaughters in a new spiritual way and help with their baptism and joining the church. I always love hearing those words down the hall screaming “Grampy”.

Now, I’m off to pursue the next chapter that God has written for me. I hope he greets me in his good graces. Thank you, HPC.
