Here are some ideas to get you started:
Keep a prayer journal
Read the Bible
Worship
Serve at church
Practice gratitude

Parents, as you tuck in your kids tonight, take a moment to talk about making good choices.

Let’s talk about the choices we make. Did you know that Jesus will judge everyone based on the choices they make? God gives us the freedom to choose, and the most important choice we can make is to follow Jesus.

READ: 2 Corinthians 5:10
For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body.

ASK: “Have you chosen to follow Jesus?”
“How do you know the difference between a good choice and a bad choice?”

PRAY: “Dear Jesus, thank You for giving us the freedom to choose. Help us to make wise choices and follow You every day. Amen.”

Hey, parents! Here’s something to think about as you’re driving today: What does the future hold?

The Bible was written thousands of years ago, but it gives us a glimpse of what’s to come. One of the most exciting truths for Christians is that Jesus is coming back. But here’s the catch: We don’t know when. The Bible tells us to be prepared and faithful, always ready for His return. So, how do we stay ready if we don’t know when?

As you drive, talk with your kids about:

What does it mean to live with the hope that Jesus will come back one day?

How can we stay prepared, living faithfully for God?

How can we can encourage each other to live with purpose today?

Let’s remind ourselves that Jesus is coming back, and that’s something we can look forward to. Share your thoughts as a family below!
