Church is not a building. Church = PEOPLE.
And there is nothing we love more than seeing people move forward in their faith.
 
What a Sunday across Champion Forest! Today, many people joined our church family through Membership Class and hundreds gathered in Life Groups and Worship to seek the Lord together.
 
As we continued our Pray Like Jesus series, we were reminded of the simple prayer, “Give us this day our daily bread.” Day by day, we want to be a people who depend on our Father for everything we need.
 
All over campus you could see JOY. Our Kids Ministry may have had the most fun of anyone when they got to “slime” a brave leader after meeting their challenge to bring friends last week! 😄
 
THIS is the Church. People of all ages growing. People taking steps of faith. People seeking God together.
 
We’re grateful for what God is doing. Let’s keep moving forward together and never grow complacent about the privilege of being His Church! 🔥

Thankful for Sundays like today, when we come together, encourage one another, and remember the love of our Savior.

Today, we were reminded through the Lord’s Prayer how Jesus teaches us to pray, and through the Lord’s Supper we paused to remember His sacrifice for us.

All across our campuses, you could see LIFE and JOY. Kids were engaging with God’s Word. Students were building godly relationships. Adults were finding community and growing in their faith.

This is CHURCH. This is what Sundays are all about.

And it doesn’t stop on Sunday.

MIDWEEK begins this week, with opportunities for every age and stage to gather, grow, and take another step in faith.

It’s always special when God’s people come together with the express purpose of worship and prayer. Thank you to everyone who joined us tonight!
 
We also had the privilege of celebrating and praying over faithful servants who have answered God’s call to serve His Church through pastoral ministry and deacon service. What a joy to witness OBEDIENCE as God works in the hearts and lives of His people.
 
May we continue to seek Him first as we pray boldly for all He has in store this season.

This morning we watched people of every age gather in Life Groups, open God’s Word together, build new friendships, and begin a new season of growing in Christ. 
 
Our prayer for this fall isn’t that we’ll simply fill our calendars. It’s that we’ll be transformed.
 
We want to know Jesus more deeply, trust Him more fully, and learn to pray the way He taught us to pray.
 
Remember - Life Groups are open year-round, so there’s never a wrong time to find community, build authentic relationships, and take your next step in faith.
 
If today was your first Sunday, we’re so glad you were here. If you missed it, we’ll save you a seat next week.
 
Let’s make this a fall that looks different because we spent more time with Jesus.

It’s back-to-school time! 📚✏️

Today we were honored to have Roscoe Lilly with us and loved hearing the word on faithfulness he brought to our church family! Praying the truth we heard this morning stays with us long after we leave the building and into the week ahead. 🙏
