Welcome Our Fall 2026 Intern — Aaliyah McDermott!
We are so excited to officially welcome Aaliyah McDermott as our Fall 2026 North Gate Houston Intern!
Throughout this semester, Aaliyah will be serving alongside our North Gate team, helping and supporting our leadership in whatever ways are needed throughout the life of the church. From behind-the-scenes tasks to ministry needs, special projects, events, and more, she’ll have the opportunity to experience many different areas of what it takes to serve the House well.
We believe there is so much value in having a heart that is willing, teachable, and ready to serve wherever God provides an opportunity, and we’re excited to have Aaliyah step into this season with us.
When you see Aaliyah around North Gate, be sure to welcome her and encourage her as she serves our church family this fall!

MEN’S MINISTRY GAME NIGHT RECAP!

What a great night for the men of North Gate Houston! We loved seeing so many of our guys come together for an evening filled with good food, great conversation, plenty of games, and genuine fellowship.

There’s something powerful about brothers in Christ simply gathering together sharing life, laughing, encouraging one another, and building friendships rooted in Jesus. Nights like these remind us that community matters and that we were never meant to walk out our faith alone.

We’re so thankful for every man who came out and made the night such a great one. Here’s to continuing to build strong friendships, strengthen one another, and grow together as brothers in Christ!

STUDENT MINISTRY FALL SEMESTER NIGHT ONE! 🍂🔥🙌

What a way to kick off a new semester!! From lots of laughter and a very competitive pencil-balancing relay race 😂✏️ to a powerful time of worship together, Night One was SO GOOD!

We also had the joy of officially welcoming Jenny & Franz Sarangaya as new Student Ministry leaders! 🤍 We’re so thankful for their YES to pouring into this next generation and can’t wait to see how God uses them this semester.

And we introduced our new Fall curriculum FULLY HIS. ❤️‍🔥

This season, we’re digging into what it truly looks like to live a life fully surrendered to Jesus. Not just giving Him certain parts of our lives, but allowing our whole lives to become an act of worship. Our prayer is that our students wouldn’t simply know about Jesus, but would learn what it means to belong completely to Him.

Fully surrendered. Fully devoted. FULLY HIS. 🙌

We’re expectant for everything God is going to do this semester! 🔥

Men of North Gate, join us THIS Saturday, August 29th from 6–10 PM at Nick Senofsky’s home for a relaxed evening of food, games, fellowship, and community!

Come hang out, connect with other brothers in Christ, strengthen friendships, and enjoy a fun night together. There’s no formal schedule, so come and go as you’re able!

Young Adults Ministry 1st Annual Grill Out & Pool Party Recap!

This weekend was filled with laughter, great food, swimming, meaningful conversations, and so many opportunities to build genuine friendships. More than just a fun summer gathering, it was a reminder that God designed us to do life together.

We're so grateful for every person who came, invited a friend, shared a meal, and helped make the night so special. Community isn't built in a single evening, but moments like these become the foundation for lasting relationships rooted in Christ. As we head into this new season of Young Adults, we're believing God has so much in store. Thank you for making our first annual Grill Out & Pool Party such an unforgettable night!

We already can't wait for the next one!
