More than servants, we are friends of Jesus.

Our Student Ministry night was a beautiful reminder that Jesus doesn’t just call us to serve Him, but to abide in Him. Through Psalm 23, Michelle shared a powerful picture of resting in green pastures, beside still waters, in the presence of Jesus. Our students brought that picture to life, lying shoulder to shoulder as a reminder that abiding means resting in His presence and simply being with Him. May we never become so busy doing things for Jesus that we forget to simply be with Him. ❤️

It’s one of our favorite times of the year! Join us at North Gate Houston this Sunday, November 1st, at 6:00 PM for our annual Family Fall Festive Fellowship! We’re looking forward to an evening filled with delicious food, laughter, friendly competition, and meaningful fellowship as we gather together as one church family!

Sunday Service 10/18 Recap

Some moments are too beautiful for words. Watching hearts come together in worship, hands lifted in surrender, and prayers rise in faith is a reminder of just how precious the presence of Jesus is. There is something so special about standing shoulder to shoulder with our church family, believing together and witnessing God move in the hearts of His people. We will treasure these moments forever. One family. One faith. One Savior. All for His glory!

What could ever compare to the power of the Blood of Jesus? Thank You, Jesus, that Your blood was the answer. Thank You that Your blood was enough!

This Sunday, we witnessed three beautiful declarations of faith as three lives were laid down in the waters of baptism and RAISED TO LIFE in Christ. Three stories. Three testimonies. Three lives declaring that the old has passed away and a new life has begun.

Baptism is more than a moment. It is a declaration that we belong to Jesus! That we have been buried with Him and raised to walk in the newness of life. What a beautiful reminder that the same Jesus who went to the cross is still saving, still redeeming, and still making all things new.

To Jesus be all the glory, all the honor, and all the praise. The blood was enough. The grave was defeated. And because He lives, we can live, too!

This past Saturday, our Women's Ministry gathered around in the presence of Jesus, sharing a meal, laughter, testimonies, worship, and the beautiful reminder that we were never meant to walk this journey of faith alone.

Amanda led us through a heartfelt time of sharing our testimonies and reflecting on God's faithfulness through every season of life. Our sister Madeline poured out heavenly wisdom through Scripture, and Marcie vulnerably shared her personal testimony of how God has transformed her life through trusting in Him. We were reminded that no season is wasted in the hands of our faithful Father. Even in the valleys, He is working, shaping, restoring, and drawing us closer to His heart. We lifted our voices together in worship, turning our hearts toward the One who holds every season. We closed our time by surrounding our sweet sister Zoe in prayer, standing together in faith and love.

What a gift it is to be surrounded by women who love Jesus, encourage one another, share wisdom, and faithfully point each other back to Him. May we continue to be women who carry one another's burdens, celebrate God's goodness in every season, and remind each other of the hope we have in Christ.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” — Proverbs 27:17

Our hearts are full of gratitude for the fellowship and the sisterhood God is building among us. Here's to growing together, walking together, and keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus. 🤍

“As watchmen and builders of God’s kingdom, we are called to watch, build, and steward what God has placed in our hands. We are called to cultivate our entire field with diligence, planting and preparing for a harvest—knowing that we ultimately reap what we sow in our lives and in the kingdom. Yet, true kingdom stewardship looks radically different than the ways of the world.

In Leviticus chapters 19 and 23, God gave His people a countercultural command: “do not cut the corners of your field.”We are called to maximize our cultivation, but God designs our surplus to be someone else’s life-giving sustenance. As we sow and reap, we are meant to let some of that reaping go out to other people; what we leave behind in our corners are meant to be a lifeline to the community around us.

Join us for our newest fall message series, "Stop Cutting Corners," as we discover what it means to build a life of Kingdom purpose without consuming every last drop of our time, talent, and treasure for ourselves. Together, let’s trade a mindset of scarcity for the radical generosity of God’s kingdom and create space in our lives that allow His grace, love and provision to overflow from us to others.”
