Next week, in a historic moment marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the bishops of the United States will consecrate our nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The event will be livestreamed on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. ET (1:00 p.m. PT) from the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe in Orlando, Florida, as part of the bishops' Spring Plenary Assembly.

We invite you to prayerfully participate in this significant event and to share the livestream and accompanying resources through your ministries, parishes, and communications channels as appropriate.

Please also keep the bishops in your prayers as they journey to Orlando for their plenary assembly.

Graduations are happening, seasons are changing, and time seems to be moving faster than ever.

In the middle of all the transitions, emotions, uncertainty, excitement, and letting go, I’m reminded that while life changes constantly, Christ remains constant.

Praying today for peace in the waiting, wisdom in the decisions ahead, and hope for all those stepping into new seasons.

Today, we give thanks to God for the gift of mothers and all women who reflect His love through their care, sacrifice, and devotion.

On this Mother’s Day, we honor mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, spiritual mothers, and all mother figures who nurture life and faith in their families and communities.

We also remember in prayer those who long to be mothers, those grieving the loss of a mother or child, and those for whom this day carries sorrow.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother, intercede for all mothers and surround them with her love and protection.

Happy Mother’s Day. 💐

Today marks one year since the College of Cardinals elected Cardinal Robert Prevost as the 267th Successor of St. Peter. Taking the name Pope Leo XIV, he became the first U.S.-born pope in Church history. We give thanks for his leadership and keep him in our prayers.

Good morning and happy Monday! 🌸

How are all you Bloomies feeling after Bloomsday? Sore? Tired? Accomplished? Maybe all three.

Bloomsday feels a lot like life sometimes; long stretches, unexpected hills, moments you want to quit, and the steady choice to keep going.

It reminds me of Hebrews 12:1:
“Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”

Not every race is physical. Some are emotional. Spiritual. Personal. But God calls us to keep moving forward, trusting Him in the uphill climbs and the finish lines alike.

Wherever you are this Monday; exhausted, healing, hopeful, or just putting one foot in front of the other, keep going. God is with you in the race. 🤍

Happy Birthday Bishop Daly! We are so grateful to have you as our shepherd!
