Our only guide is the word of God as revealed in the New Testament, and our only desire is to be faithful servants of Christ. We are not connected to any denominational structure or organization. Our desire is to be Christians only, simple New Testament Christians who are Biblical in doctrine, fervent in worship, aggressive in service, friendly in spirit, loving in outreach, and Christ-like in nat

ure. We believe that it is the purpose of Jesus' church to help mold His image in the hearts of men, women, and children so that we can share Him and His offer of hope and happiness in a world full of struggles. The church of Christ is built on hope, a hope centered in faith in Jesus Christ and His power to change lives. Therefore, we want to make Christ and His word the center of our lives and pray that His Spirit will continue to remake us into His image.

We wanted to share an uplifting story from last week, demonstrating the profound impact of simple acts of kindness. Tanner Smith, Blake Stephens and Mike Fresquez spearheaded a wonderful initiative, dedicating their time and effort to assist neighbors who might have been struggling with yard maintenance or general outdoor clean-up.

By offering practical help, Tanner, Blake and Mike created invaluable opportunities for human connection. They initiated meaningful conversations with community members, even providing a space for prayer requests.

This inspiring endeavor not only beautified our shared spaces but also significantly strengthened the fabric of our community, illustrating the powerful ripple effect of compassion and neighborly care.

Today the valley congregation rejoices with Mike Fresquez. He has made the great decision of being immersed into Christ (Rom. 6:2-6) for the remission of his sins (Acts 22:16) and entrance into His church (Acts 2:41).

It was clear when I first met Mike that he had a great heart and that he was very motivated in serving God. We went through three studies where we opened our Bibles and discussed God’s will for man with the aid of the “Back to the Bible” series. Mike was very encouraged by how deeply rooted we are in the Word of God, and now we are encouraged by his acceptance of truth.

All praise and thanks be to God for bringing us a new brother in Christ!
