Happy Friday from Pastor Jami! Here's a sneak peek to Sunday's sermon and a few upcoming events to keep on your radars!
Our condolences are with the families of John Clouse and Tootie Kittelson, both of whom passed away recently. Thank you to all who helped make John's service special this past Wednesday; you're invited to join this afternoon for a service of remembrance and celebration for Tootie, 2:30 PM at Robinson Funeral Home (with visitation starting at 1:00).
Sunday, after worship, there will be a youth and family committee meeting, followed by a choir runout service to Accura in Milford at 1:30. It will be a brief service of song, word, and communion - all are welcome to join!
New Member Sunday is coming up on September 20! If you're new to Grace and would like to be recognized during worship, please let Pastor Jami know!
September 6 will be worship at Cutty's before Grace worship, at 9:00 AM.
September 13 will be Rally Sunday, with a worship committee meeting after the service.
September 20 we will recognize our new members, followed by a party to celebrate 20 years of Deb Heidebrink's service to Grace.
September 27 we baptize Gracie & Sadie Snedecker, followed by a service & outreach meeting after worship.
October 4 will be our Annual Meeting after worship.
It will be a busy but important month - hope you can attend many of these special services and gatherings!
Our doll fundraiser continues at the church, with clothing made by Elaine Schwaller and accessories donated by Lori Masad. $5 gets you one entry; $10 gets you three. The fundraiser will be ongoing until Rally Sunday, September 13. All proceeds go to support our youth ministries!
In the coming weeks, we are looking for volunteers to help advance the slides during worship. There will be a sheet outside the sanctuary doors to sign up and help, and a tech manual for reference. We promise it's easier than it looks!!
Bible Study continues next Monday, August 31, at 11:00 AM. The following week, September 8, the time will move back to Tuesdays at 11!
Take care, and have a Grace-full weekend! See less
