Yesterday, Pastor Jami led a confirmation trip to Sioux Falls. They worshipped at Ransom Church, had a meaningful conversation about different worship expressions with Pastor Stephani, and enjoyed a lunch and sightseeing at Falls Park.

This trip marks the end of their confirmation education! Join us this October as we affirm their baptism, celebrate their confirmation, and welcome them as adult members of our Grace family!

Grace Lutheran Church Worship May 31, 2026 feat. Guest Pastor Chuck Wolff

05/29/2026

Happy Friday from Pastor Jami! Here's a sneak peek to Sunday's sermon and a few upcoming events to keep on your radars!

Sunday, Pastor Jami will be away with our confirmation students, worshipping at Ransom Church in Sioux Falls. They will have some conversation on the differences between small, Lutheran worship and large, non-denominational services, enjoying food and fun at Falls Park after the service. In his absence, Pastor Chuck Wolff will be leading worship at Grace!

Cookbooks are still available! After worship, you can pick one up for $20 (with the addendum included). Or, if you already have a Grace Cookbook, you can purchase the addendum, with ~40 new recipes, for $5. All proceeds support our high schoolers going to the Youth Gathering next summer!

On June 7, our friends at Lutheran Lakeside Camp will be leading worship outside, at Grace's parking lot. Afterwards, you are invited to join us for grilled food and fellowship. Grace will provide the meats, we ask that you bring sides and desserts (if you can) to share!

Our next Bible Study will be on the Book of Revelation! We will be reading Power and Purpose by Russell L. Lackey, starting June 9 at 11:00 AM (Grace's Fireside Room). Books can be purchased at this link: https://tinyurl.com/3ksp7web

Staff and Pastor evaluations will be taking place in the month of June. Our June newsletter will share information on a survey to evaluate Pastor Jami. And if you have feedback to share for him or any of our staff members, reach out to members of our hiring committee: Dee Wermersen, Mary Christiansen, and Kari Mazur.

Don't forget, Grace is still taking donations for the Oaxaca Garage Sale, which will be June 18-20. Drop off your items in the church entryway, or contact Julie to schedule a time for assistance.

Grace is in the process of purchasing new tables and chairs for our Fellowship Hall. If you would like to donate, to sponsor a purchase in honor of a loved one, reach out to Deb Heidebrink or any member of the Stewardship Committee.

Don't forget to sign up to greet on a Sunday morning, or to help with Meals on Wheels delivery through July! Sign-ups are located in Grace's entryway.

Take care, and have a Grace-full weekend!
