Good Morning Church!
God is up to something. Have you noticed how our church has changed in just the last couple of years? Some of you will remember when we began praying for young families, children, and babies. Soon after that Cody and Kacey got married, moved into the community, and had a baby. Then came along Dakota and Dustin and soon after another new baby. Dustin's parents and sister moved here and we have another new family. A couple of months ago Tiffany and family. Since that time we have had 2 new families that have started attending. We have baptized 9 new believers and added 6 more to our number. Yesterday we had another young family to visit.
How sincere were you when you prayed for God to move in our church in such a dramatic way? Were you sincere enough to recognize that with growth comes change? With growth comes added responsibilities. With Growth comes getting out of our comfort zones. With growth comes intentional relationship building. With growth comes a need for ministry changes to meet the needs of new families.
As God continues to bring new families into our church, we have a wonderful opportunity and responsibility to welcome them with the love of Christ. Scripture reminds us, “Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God” (Romans 15:7). Reaching out to new families through genuine friendship, encouragement, prayer, and practical support helps them become connected to the body of Christ and grow in their faith. Hebrews 13:2 encourages believers to “show hospitality to strangers,” while Galatians 6:10 calls us to “do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.” By intentionally ministering to new families, we reflect God’s love, strengthen the church community, and fulfill Christ’s command to make disciples (Matthew 28:19–20). Let us be a church that warmly embraces those whom God sends our way, helping them find belonging, spiritual growth, and opportunities to serve in His kingdom.
Invite Some ONE to church Sunday. By now, most of you know that when I say Some ONE that means it will be a special message to Reach For Jesus that ONE person that needs salvation or a renewed relationship with Jesus. Simply copy the image and paste it in a text or email...simple invitation.
