Dear Friend of Faith Evangelical Free Church,

Special thanks to Pastor Grant for his service Sunday in preaching God's Word faithfully at the last minute with my sudden illness! I am feeling much better now, and look forward to being back with everyone this Sunday. Christ gives courage and comfort through connection-- this is what we find through one of the most powerful statements of Jesus' deity ever uttered in John 14:6... "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me," He said. This complete surrender to Him is not simply a principle for living, not merely a portal to a desired destination, but an all-encompassing way of being in eternal life. This Sunday, we will appreciate the courage and comfort living in the Jesus way affords us. Hope to see you then!
