“Do not love the world or the things in the world,” John writes in his first epistle. “For all that is in the world … is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever” (1 John 2:15–17).

Dear Friend of Faith Evangelical Free Church,

What is truth??? This is the question Pontius Pilate sarcastically asked the Lord Jesus in his trial before the Roman Governor. This same question is commonly asked today, in a world of slippery-slope relativism. "Your truth is your truth, and my truth is my truth" is the banner claim in our modern world. This Sunday, we will find the assurance, hope, and life possible through life in the Real Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life in John 18:33-40.

Communion Sunday! We will also be celebrating communion Sunday. This monthly opportunity is an enriching blessing as we are reminded of the unconditional love and eternal life secured by our Lord Jesus for each of us, personalized by faith. Remember to ready your heart, and that of your children, for this special observance in our worship Sunday.

Discovering Faith! Remember to sign up at our welcome wall OR on our church website for Discovering Faith, the six-session interactive experience in the foundations of faith in Christ and our church starting on Sunday the 13th.
