O'Dwyer Retreat Center Celebrating our 61st year of service and ministry to the youth and young adults of the Archdiocese of Baltimore

The O’Dwyer Retreat House provides the opportunity for youth, young adults, and adults to develop their relationship with God and see how Jesus Christ is working in their life. Located 20 miles north of Baltimore, the Retreat House is a perfect place, as is says as you enter our lobby, to “Come Apart and Rest Awhile.”

Fast Facts:
-Serving over 4,000 youth and adults each year
-18+ acres

of land in a beautiful country setting
-Retreats: Day-long, 1 or 2 night and week long
-Facilities include 4 large meeting rooms, 5 small breakout rooms, a chapel, dining room, and dorms that sleep nearly 90
-Recreational facilities include swimming pool and pool house with bathrooms, changing areas and a covered seating area, picnic area, basketball courts, gaga pit, sand volleyball court, grass fields, and a hiking trail.

What a beautiful final day with our Wildly Catholic Nature Club! 🌿🙏
We began with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the chapel, followed by the special opportunity for the children to venerate the relic of St. Carlo Acutis.
Then it was off to the barn for a storytelling and hands-on lemonade making! 🍋 We wrapped up the day with free play in the woods.
So grateful for this amazing program with these great kids and families! 💕

What a beautiful day at O’Dwyer Retreat Center! ☀️🙏
We were blessed to host our End-of-Year Appreciation Luncheon for campus ministers and chaplains from Calvert Hall College High School, Mount de Sales Academy, Elizabeth Seton High School, Loyola Blakefield, UMBC Catholic Retrievers, and Towson University.
We began with a beautiful Mass celebrated by Fr. Steven Roth and concelebrated by Fr. Fusco, SJ, followed by lunch, wonderful fellowship, and tours of the ropes courses — with some even braving the zip line!
A wonderful time was had by all. Thank you for the incredible ministry you do every day with our young people!
We can’t wait to welcome you and your students back soon!
