A Piece of Our Past Returns to the Sanctuary

Have you noticed the "new" baptismal font now located at the front of the sanctuary? It's really not "new" if you know its history. This is one of the original pieces, in addition to the altar, lectern, and cross, handcrafted by charter member Melvin O. Johnson in 1964. The font was located in a storage closet here at Our Saviour and is now being used in tribute to our local Lutheran heritage.

The original altar and cross are still used in Deese Chapel.
