Subject: Clarification Regarding the Annual Catholic Appeal

Dear Parishioners,

My name is William Lumm, Parish Manager of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Mission Parish. I am writing to address a miscommunication and to clarify an email that some of you may have received today regarding the relaunch of the Annual Catholic Appeal (ACA).

I understand why some parishioners may have questioned the legitimacy of the message. Please be assured that it is legitimate. The Diocese of Tucson is relaunching the Annual Catholic Appeal and has asked each parish to remind their communities about the opportunity to contribute. To assist parish staffs, the Diocese has provided suggested wording for bulletins, social media posts, and other communications.

I would also like to make an important clarification. Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Mission Parish has already met its ACA goal of $9,225.00. Father Arokiaraj Varanbas is not asking for any additional donations from the parishioners of our community.

If you feel called to contribute to the Annual Catholic Appeal, you are certainly welcome to do so. However, I want to be very clear that Father Arokiaraj Varanbas is not requesting further donations from our parish community.

I apologize for any confusion my earlier communication may have caused and appreciate your understanding.
