Universal Prayer Page Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and buckler! How we 'talk' to God. or Why?

*Most important; to share with each other your relationship with God, share a miracle! share a moment when you knew God was in the midst of your moment! For He is with us always unless we ask Him to leave. So even in your greatest of sorrows He wants to be with you...so just start typing and you'll be surprised of the outcome! Little or big...miracles come in all sizes, at every moment of every da

y. Just think, get quiet and see God, who's treasury of compassion is inexhaustible, in whom mercy is endless! I thought to 'set up' this page...to bring together 'all' our prayers. Everyone is welcome to submit 'their' prayers...how you pray, prayers of your faith. Enlighten and teach each other about 'their' faith. A place to to gather and learn. For example; how to pray a rosary and what does it mean. Simple cries to God...Thank you God! God help me! Give me strength! Why God? This way you can begin to unravel questions you might have as to why you or someone you care about is suffering and how can you help? Prayer is the personal interrelationship between you and God. God is always on time. Maybe not, on what we would say; 'our' time, but in time the truth is revealed. I would like to keep it simple. A learning experience. What or why 'formal' prayers mean. Meditations on prayer and in prayer. To enrich our lives! Prayer requests are welcomed, as that is the reason for us to get us into a 'conversation' with God. Postings from time to time on understanding a different faith and what they believe, but truly want to keep it centered on prayer. As most you know me, you know I cannot separate my 'spiritual' life from my FB life;) Also if you don't want to be here, no problem. But please maybe invite someone before you leave that might need this little group or be interested. Those who live in God live in love! and there is no pressure here. Come as you are! God Bless You! *one rule: your 'post' should come from your heart. Please save the anger or hate for another page and day.

Well written, well said. We must persevere with dignity for the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. March on Christian soldiers ❤️

The decision to overturn it represents more than the end of a bad law. It changes the moral debate in America today. The uproar over the leaked opinion that preceded the ruling and now its dramatic aftermath contains five crucial lessons that must orient the post-Roe future.

FIRST READING
Acts 19:1-8

Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you became believers?

A reading from the Acts of the Apostles

While Apollos was in Corinth,
Paul traveled through the interior of the country
and down to Ephesus where he found some disciples.
He said to them,
“Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you became believers?”
They answered him,
“We have never even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.”
He said, “How were you baptized?”
They replied, “With the baptism of John.”
Paul then said, “John baptized with a baptism of repentance,
telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him,
that is, in Jesus.”
When they heard this,
they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
And when Paul laid his hands on them,
the Holy Spirit came upon them,
and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.
Altogether there were about twelve men.

He entered the synagogue, and for three months debated boldly
with persuasive arguments about the Kingdom of God.

RESPONSORIAL PSALM
Ps 68:2-3ab, 4-5acd, 6-7ab

R. (33a) Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth.
or:
R. Alleluia.

God arises; his enemies are scattered,
and those who hate him flee before him.
As smoke is driven away, so are they driven;
as wax melts before the fire.

R. Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth.
or:
R. Alleluia.

But the just rejoice and exult before God;
they are glad and rejoice.
Sing to God, chant praise to his name;
whose name is the LORD.

R. Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth.
or:
R. Alleluia.

The father of orphans and the defender of widows
is God in his holy dwelling.
God gives a home to the forsaken;
he leads forth prisoners to prosperity.

R. Sing to God, O kingdoms of the earth.
or:
R. Alleluia.

ACCLAMATION BEFORE THE GOSPEL
Col 3:1

℟. Alleluia, alleluia.

If, then, you were raised with Christ,
seek what is above,
where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.

℟. Alleluia, alleluia.

GOSPEL
Jn 16:29-33

Take courage, I have overcome the world.

✠ A reading from the holy Gospel according to John

The disciples said to Jesus,
“Now you are talking plainly, and not in any figure of speech.
Now we realize that you know everything
and that you do not need to have anyone question you.
Because of this we believe that you came from God.”
Jesus answered them, “Do you believe now?
Behold, the hour is coming and has arrived
when each of you will be scattered to his own home
and you will leave me alone.
But I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
I have told you this so that you might have peace in me.
In the world you will have trouble,
but take courage, I have conquered the world.”

At the end of the Gospel, the Deacon, or the Priest, acclaims:

The Gospel of the Lord.

All reply:

Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

Then he kisses the book, saying quietly:

Through the words of the Gospel
may our sins be wiped away.
