The St. Tikhon’s Monastery Music Program is thrilled to welcome Juliana Woodill as our new Music Program Director, effective July 1, 2026.

Our current music program director Fr. Caleb Lewis & his family are returning to the Southern U.S. to pursue parish pastoral life and live closer to family. We are so grateful for both Fr. Caleb and Matushka Tabitha and their integral work leading the music program these last two years!

Juliana Woodill comes to St. Tikhon’s with 17 years of experience as a conductor and music educator. As the current conductor of the Archdiocesan Choir of Washington D.C. she regularly leads workshops on conducting and church musicianship across the U.S. She also teaches conducting at the Summer Music Institute hosted by St. Vladimir’s Seminary.

Juliana will be heading up our on-site residency program, music workshops, as well as spearheading other creative learning opportunities for Orthodox musicians here at St. Tikhon’s and across America.

She is excited to join the faculty at St. Tikhon's to continue to build a thriving program for Orthodox musicians to beautify worship for the glory of God!
